Theme: Best of the first 25 Weeks
To celebrate the halfway point in our challenge we review some of the best images from the first 25 weeks.
It's been so encouraging to have my social media friends follow my progress in this challenge. So based on your 'likes' I have featured some of the best for you.
As we take a look, I will also tell you a little about the weekly tasks required to execute and publish this challenge.
I planned each week's challenge topic in advance so in the weeks prior I needed to shoot and look through my archives for at least 25 images for each topic and arrange them into digital folders.
Each image needed to be converted to a .png file in the correct dimensions for publishing to my website and social media platforms...
To write the blog content, I needed to consider my own practical experiences, research essential facts and details, as well as create practical tips that I thought would help other photographers.
I wanted to provide as much info as possible for my readers, to assist their own photographic journey, so I looked up the metadata for each photo to include on the blog page. That way the reader can check the camera settings and perhaps have a better understanding of the image effects. I also needed to give each image a name...
Once that was done...
After the blog was published on my website, I scheduled about 25 image posts with a short description to run on different social media platforms for that entire week. I also needed to research topic specific hashtags etc.... After a few days, hit the repeat button and do it all again for the next week's topic.
Although it is a big commitment, I am looking forward to seeing what the next 25 weeks will bring.
